On one of the enveloppes I'm making for people I'll meet in England, I'm planning to give them all the drawings I've made for them in the month/years I've known them.
I delete the name so the surprise isn't fully wasted for the one who gets this one. It's my favorite (enveloppe, not friend CommentsGoldfishes! How unique and so pretty
I love your envelope art, I still have those you sent to me! ^_^ -- ♥ Cally death wore chinchilla. Twinklestah.co.uk: <- website. Artistic Stah <- blog.
If one of you boys dares to touch me..... i'm afraid i shall sustain a massive erection. Critiques
The background alludes to the seashore... the sandy colours + the blue... and then the fish in her hair makes me even more intrigued. Is she a mermaid or siren?
The fish themselves are indeed very interesting - pirahnas? And the orange colour tricks the viewer into first thinking they may be innocent, sweet goldfish. This has many layers to it.
The only real critique I could offer is that her neck seems to bulge a little, more like a man's neck - although I appreciate the stylisation - and the shading between her breasts seems almost too pronounced.
This is definitely one of my favourites from you, though.
Keep up the amazing work - I would love to see more slightly surreal art of this nature!
